This paper firstly introduces the CAD/CAE technology, and then its developing situation and trends in the domestic and international in modern production. We found that the traditional product design mode has not already met the need of the modern product. CAE has become an integral part of the design process and play a key role. Rubber materials are used extensively in many industries because of their special properties and low cost, so there is of great importance in rubber components finite element analysis.Rubber seal components are widely applied in mechanical equipment, and their performances affect the normal work of equipment directly. Sometimes invalidation of sealed components causes fatal accidents. Because the design of rubber seal components come down to various theory information of solid mechanics, tribology, polymer science, liquid, corrasion and mechanical techniques. It is difficult to research the contact stress in the seal interface with fitting and using seal components. But with the development of computer performance, and numerical computational methods, material science and commercial nonlinear finite element analysis code, researchers can carry out high nonlinear contact problem during the fitting the seal components, and already obtain some research outcomes. Rubber O-sealing ring and oil seal are the most familiar seal components, for the unique configuration and performance superiority, they are widely applied in many mechanical equipment.
