Near-field scanning optical microscope (NSOM) is a new type microscope, which use sample抯 near-field optical signal to make dynamic imaging. The topography and optical information in micro-scale even nano-scale can be obtained by this optical method. NSOM provide a new technique for scientific research and has an important value in development of nano-science and technology.The paper is related to the optical fiber probe, which is the key part of NSOM. Based on the requirement for different optical fiber probe, we fabricate many different kinds of optical probes, especially bent fiber probe for AF/PSTM(atomic force /photon scanning telescope microscope).The main point is mending method to fabricate bend optical probe, which is a heated pulling combining chemical etching method. Through optimizing the parameters of apparatus, correcting operation and studying the relation of eroding temperature and time, we summarize an integrated process for making fiber probe. With the process anyone can make fiber probe easily.The bend optical fiber probe is used in developed NSOM system and the perfect images are obtained.We have studied infection of temperature and time in eroding probe. In different temperature and the condition of changing temperature the experimentations have been made. We obtain the elementary result.
