Advanced construction methods are propitious to improve quality and security of construction, shorten the time limit for a project, lower the cost of construction. Construction methods of large-span reticulated cylindrical shell are studied in this paper, based on variety of existing spacial structure construction methods. A new type of construction method that the structure is formed integrally by sliding support is bring forward in literature [1]. Construction process run-after computation is conducted by Ansys program, and a new type of hinged joint is obtained.First, traditional methods and new methods appeared in decades recently are introduced in the paper, as well as their characteristic and applicability. Then the new construction technology for reticulated cylindrical shell with much of excellence is proposed.Secondly, whole construction process computation and mechanical analysis are conducted in the paper. In the process, the span of structure is reducing gradually with falling internal stress. Processing method of the problem that a large number of elements are overstressed in the beginning is obtained. Superposition of states is applied to analysis of key stage.Finally, hinged joints used in construction methods based on mechanism and mechanics of single-degree-of-freedom rotation are also introduced. And that a new type of hinged joint that make it needless to remove the longitudinal member bars is recommended. Its detail structure and the sliding process of support are mentioned in the end.
