Aiming at the demand of power department and the practical applications, a newsurveillance device based on DSP(Digital Signal Processing)technology is developed.The paper studies the measuring method of the power quality.The author briefly analyzes some problems caused by using single chipmicroprocessor as front porch control, and proposes the hardware and software structurewhich uses industrial level micro-controller MC9S12DP256B as master CPU,TMS320F206 as slave CPU, and thus can perform measurement, control andcommunication. The synchronous data sampling of the supervising system is realized bymulti-channel collection retaining and A/D transformation circuit. Data between themaster and slave boards can be transferred by dual-port RAM. According to the specialcharacters of the electric power system, the algorithm implementation of digital signalprocessor is presented.The equipment can provide comprehensive and accurate recording data for qualitystudy of electric energy. Besides it displays real time curve and frequency spectrum.
