Based on comparison of development of control and measure system natively and abroad, the electric machine experiment system was designed with LabVIEW combining with requirement of courses experiment in the college.This system was related to electric machine control, computer technology, modern control, measure technique, and network technique. Hardware configuration was achieved, the software was developed. For the requirement of system hardware design, Advantech's data acquisition card and timing count card were used to control and measure electric machine, digital torque-rotary transducer with satisfied reliability and accuracy was used to complete data acquisition, magnetic powder brake was used to accomplish electric machine loading. Making use of LabVlEW's advantages in data acquisition, data processing, curve fitting, friendly interface in the software design, it realized electric machine controlling and measuring in different work stations, important parameter testing and recording, data calculating, performance curve ploting, loading controlling, data storing and so on. For the requirement of remote teaching, the testing system combined network technique and Lab VIEW, and issued the program in the internet explore, and so that remote user could browse and put in for the use of control program in the server. In the design of the mechanical structure, the need of removing and assembling various sized shaft couplings was considered too, so it could control different electric machines and measure their different parameters easily.
