With the developing of electronics and photoelectronics, the heat emission is becoming bulk, so the refrigeration is granted a significant subject to improve the function of the element and keep it working steadily. For new electron devices, with the constantly developing of the industrial technology, the limit on the design and manufacture technique of the traditional cooler can satisfaction of wants not any longer. Hence, we must look for the new refrigeration mode and adopt the more dependable refrigeration fashion. The microfabrication makes the realization of miniature refrigeration being possible, which evolutes from the electron, mechanics and other corelational industries. For the present, miniature refrigeration technology includes three major methods: thermoelectric refrigeration, thermoacoustic refrigeration and phase transition refrigeration. Because thermoacoustic refrigerators are inherently simple and have not any moving parts, so we will study the miniature of the thermoacoustic refrigerator. And focus on the refrigerator driven by electromagnetic sound source, considering the request of size. There have no investigation about the electromagnetic driver using in thermoacoustic refrigerator at home, the exploration here just be preliminarily. In this paper we discussed the design method of the small-scale acoustic compressor used to drive thermoacoustic refrigerators with transitional size (90mm) under stationary working condition. And find several means for devisal of the miniature acoustic compressor. At last, we did experiment and gave the qualitative analysis of electromagnetic pressure in the system. The paper just be preliminary investigation, so it needs further study in many ways. The device here is in transitional size, it is very different from the chip size miniature refrigerators, therefore there are many problems need to be resolved. In additional, we just analyzed the electromagnetic pressure in experiment due to the limitation of experimental condition. To realize the miniature of thermoacoustic refrigerators, we needs flood of experimental analysis.
