This paper begins with the concept of architectural form, and discusses problems of form in the background of clashion and covergence of tradition and contemporaneity, west and east. Form includes the solid's form and also the space's form; form is specific, material and also abstract, spiritual, psycological. There is a relationship of expression between form and contend, which includes denotation extension and connotation intension, logic and sensibility etc. And perception to form is the way to convey the relationship. As the result of a procedure, its origin point is found: will is the precondition; human's natural attribution is the foundation; spirit's perception to order is the root. The rules of form in western traditional aesthetics and oriental thoughts, and aslo the contemperory trends of philosophy's inpulse to them are analyzed, for the rules must be used in the procedure of plan and design. Lastly, come down to the specific target of creational methodology of architecture: to create "live form" of architecture.
