It is very important and necessary to research the effect from randomness of theparameters to slope structure, for many indeterminacy factors related with slope structureare difficult to be estimated with determinate methods. On account of this reason, the effectfrom randomness of three parameters, which are gravity coefficientγ, friction coefficient fand cohesion coefficient c, to safety factor K and reliability index βis researched in thisarticle. The main conclusions in the article are:1. The effect from independent randomness of these parameters to safety factor Krelates to the proportion of this parameter in anti-slipped force S~F (or S~B ), namely themore proportion, the more safety factor is affected. Otherwise, it is found that the effectfrom precision of calculation methods to safety factor is related to the pivotal degree of theparameter, that is to say, the more the parameter is important, the more safety factor isaffected by the precision of the calculation method.2. The effect from all the random parameters to safety factor is analyzed when theychange randomly at the same time. The result is the same as the effect from independentrandomness to safety factor, namely the proportion of the parameter in anti-slipped force isdeterminant. Besides, it takes out that the effect from precision of calculation methods tosafety factor is related to the total pivotal degree of the parameter compounding, namely themore the compounding is important, the more safety factor is affected.3. After the effect from the randomness of parameter variability coefficient to βisresearched, it is found that effect result relates to the proportion of the parameter in meansquare deviation σ_z of performance function ( namely sensitivity α_i which iscorresponding to the parameter ), that is to say the more proportion, the more correspondedα_i, the more effect to β.
