This work is a part of the project "intelligent weighing system of over-loading" supported by Hebei transportation department. In highway management, the phenomenon of over freight is very serious, which greatly shortened the highway's service life. The traditional system of vehicle weigh is put into practice primarily depending on expensive sensor equipment. It not only cost high, but also limited the speed of movement. A whole new measurement, based on the compression-sensitivity of CFRC to form the system of vehicle-weight, is presented in this paper. Carbon fiber-reinforced concrete is formed by common concrete mixed with some short carbon fiber and some contents of CF. It has not only excellent mechanic capability but also the characteristic of compression-sensitivity.This paper mainly studies the compression-sensitivity of CFRC and the stability of electrical resistivity.Firstly, the facture of carbon fiber-reinforced mortar was studied. The problem of equably dispersion is solved through mixing methylcellulose and silica fume. Influence of different factors, such as the contents of CF, electrode form, disposal mode, and loading directions, on the compression-sensitivity is studied by experiment. The method of testing the compression-sensitivity of CFRM is confirmed.Secondly, on the foundation of CFRM, the compression-sensitivity of CFRC is studied by mixing thick carpolite. Furthermore, the compression-sensitivity of CFRC, which suffers three-direction-pressure is studied.Thirdly, present method of carbon fiber treatment is summarized. Treat the surface of carbon fiber with GLBE, the influence of surface-treatment of carbon fiber on the distribution and compression-sensitivity of CFRC was studied. According to the contrast of the compression-sensitivity before and after surface treatment, as well as the contrast of the distribution of carbon fiber in cement mortar, it is found that GLBE is able to improve the dispersiveness of carbon fiber. At last, the factors influencing the stability of resistivity of CFRC such as the length and contents, curing age, polarization, temperature, humidity are studied. The basis of theory and test was introduced for the application of CFRC in realistic engineering project.
