For the reason of not enough parking spaces providing for the increasing vehicles in China, road-by parking becomes a sort of parking now. Facing these problems brought from road-by parking, there is a deep research in the paper; some analysis and results are put forward and run and applied in the computer. This would supply a academic support for parking problem.First, depict and analyze the status quo in the domestic and foreign research, including road-by parking problem and actual transport research.By the research and analysis, road-by parking problem is a research about vehicles parking in the roadside. So the problem of vehicles parking on ordinary roadway and non-motor-vehicle roadway, where road-by parking is often occurred, is fractionized and studied. The result by fractionized is the traffic effect coursed by parking vehicles in immobile state, the locomotion of parking vehicles in the discrete state, the locomotion of parking vehicles in the continuous state, the effect of vehicles parking on the non-motor-vehicle roadway.After clearly knowing the content in the research, model is given by modifying the calculate of capability of roadway transport, when the parking vehicles situated in immobile state; the model of delay of vehicles on the road coursed by parking vehicle, is found by use of Poisson distribution, when the parking vehicles situated in the discrete state; the model of delay of vehicles on the road coursed by parking vehicle, is found by use of the theory of traffic flow, when the parking vehicles situated in the continuous state; mostly depended on estimating service grade of bicycles on the non-motor-vehicle, capability of traffic is judged.At last, on the basis of formal analysis, the road-by parking system is simulated by use of computer, and an objective result is gained. These researches hugely help subsequent users and decision-makers and provide an academic support for the setting and arrange of road-by parking.
