With the development of information epoch, the digitization of the information has become the most effective way to convey, process and storage. It is the certain developing trend to digitize and to analyze the images of transmit electron microscope (TEM) in real time.The transmit electron microscope JEM-100CX of the analysis and test center of HUST is fixed a CCD video camera with the resolution of 1024*1024 pixels to digitize images captured from TEM and analysis software has been programmed to process and analyze the TEM images.In this system, the research work is described as follows:Chapter 1 introduces the development of the TEM and the signification of digitization of TEM images also with the correlative research in the world.Chapter 2 illuminates the hardware and software in this system and present the design faced to object and the database applied.Chapter 3 introduces the restoring algorithm for the distorted TEM images to be reverted to type by inserting pixels. The prewitt arithmetic is chosen to distill the contour and the hilditch arithmetic is selected to track the brim to pretreat the images.Chapter 4 introduces the quantitative analysis of the TEM images including the dispersion of particle phase and the level of sphere of grain. Chapter 5 introduces the structure demarcate method of the diffraction images which is founded on the basis of Electron Microscope Analysis theory, combining the knowledge of visual c++ and database. Chapter 6 analyzes the images of the fatigue rupture and works out the velocity of the rupture expanding.
