AFVISAR(A11 fiber velocity interferometer system for any reflector)which is made up of fiber can measure the moving velocity for any reflector without touching .It is widely used in the velocity measurement,especially in the field of material impact characteristics researching.Compared with the traditional VISAR(velocity interferometer for any reflector),AFVISAR is compact convenient anti-jamming.Furthermore ,it has any fringe constant.Since it is posed in the middle of 1990s by Mr.L.Levin,it attracts widely attention all over the world.Restricted by some conditions,there is no practical AFVISAR in the world.After absorbed the advantages of the traditional VISAR and present AFVISAR,in order to realize feasibility and practicability,the thesis firstly proposes a practical AFVISAR,which can t be founded in the previous reference all over the world .The experiments under the loading of Hopkinson bar have been done successfully,which shows the strong ability of the new AFVISAR.The more detail work includes following aspects:1 The history and status of VISAR are expounded.Finally ,we get the conclusion that the AFVISAR is the best velocity interferometer by far.2 After summarized the characteristics of the traditional VISAR and wide-spectrum AFVISAR,the paper pose a new AFVISAR,The new AFVISAR inherits the advantages of the traditional VISAR,at the same time,it expands the superiority of wide-spectrum AFVISAR. All the work make the new AFVISAR become the first practical AFVISAR in the world .3 The principle of new AFVISAR is introduced at length .The factors that influence the work of new AFVISAR are analyzed in detail. Through the analysis ,the best system-building option is got.4 A special way is brought forward to test the static signal of new AFVISAR.The experiments where Hopkinson bar is used have been done successfully .The success leads the conclusion that the new AFVISAR realizes the goals of the thesis.5 As a byproduct ,a direction-judged tiny displacement interferometer system is posed which is made up of fiber.The experiments measuring portrait displacement of the incident bar under the loading of Hopkinsn bar, are successful.6 The data-reduction program to the new AFVISAR is introduced .It is proved by the calculation of some simulated objects , especially in the calculation of phase difference came from the three output signals of new AFVISAR.In the end ,the precision of the new AFVISAR is discussed and the improvement of new AFVISAR is expounded.
