Engine is one of the Primary parts of automobiles. And it's also the power source of automobiles. During the detecting and measurement of engine of the automobiles, we need to have an overall detecting and analysis. So that we can get the general performance of the automobile.For the time being, there are many problems with traditional instruments for detecting and measurement, such as low content of technique, too complex detecting process, data not precise enough, simplex function, only a few kinds of products, low updating speed. Most instruments is not highly intelligentized, no strong function of data store and process, no function of communication and long-distance detecting etc. We developed the application programs of the system base on the software LabVIEW, which has strong network communication capability and data processing capability and friendly man-machine interface.The following is the main content of the paper. First, I introduced the primary parameters which shall be detected. On that foundation, I designed the general frame of the long-distance network detecting and measurement system. I also made a description to the function of each part. And the scheme of each part is also given. The problem of data transmission and how the data transmitted with LabVIEW is analysized in chapter 4. The function module of data process and analysis is introduced finally. The primary research object of the paper is the transmission of remote data detected.Base on the hardware platform of many car PCs and a remote PC , with all kinds of sensors, data collection card PCI-6013,GPRS Lead-in Internet Access Card Aircard750, and the software platform of LabVIEW. This thesis presents us a system of long-distance network detecting and analysis. The paper had a research to the real-time data collection of the primary parameters of the engine , and in time remote data transmission and analysis of the engine. Theoretically, the system can get real-time working status of the engine and its general performance. The system has the capability of collection and transmission of remote data at one time. So that, we can get the parameters of the working status of the engine. A single equipment can have many testing functions and work cooperatively. The system has very good expansibility for it can be updated immediately as the customers or the actual objects to detect requires.
