Research And Software Implementation Of Integrating Project Drawing Information With Database For Power Plant

The application software to integrate project drawing and database could make good effect on product management and decision- making for large electrical power station and other correlative company. Now software to integrate project drawing information and database's integration does not meet the need of our national electrical power plants, and these software licences are too expensive to accept. The thesis try to find a method to integrate project drawing information and database and make it to match the real needs of the electrical power station of China, and avoid purchasing software that does not meet the need of our company. We make a information management system that could search information in real time, it improves the work efficiency of electrical power station. At the same time the software was developed by author and the software is based on the state of national electrical power plant [Drawing and data's integration system]. Some national electrical power plants sucessfully used the software system, and the thesis includes:1. Software system architectureThe author designed the software system architecture and system flow chart after investigating related software of international and considering the requirement of electrical power plant. The software adopt a technique that two running modes could be selected with client/Server,client/server and browser/server. Sytem data access methodWe use ODBC (Open Database Connect) and ADO (ActiveX Data Objects) to access data. The thesis compares the advantage and shortcome of the ODBC and ADO method.Access binary file from BLOB(Binary Large Object) fieldThe thesis put forward a method that how to access binary file from Oracle BLOB (Binary Large Object) field through OCI (Oracle Call Interface). The arithmetic is implemented in C language, and oracle. It put forward the method to implete it.ObjectARX (AutoCAD Runtime Extension) programmingObjectARX SDK is provided by Autodesk and we could use it to handle drawing information with ease. Software adopts ObjectARX (AutoCAD Runtime Extension) technology, the thesis introduces interface with other modules detail implementation. Browser/Server architecture implementationThe software system provides a method to deploy J2EE architecture on the basis of Oracle 9i Application Server.
