The Lijiang Model is from Integrated Community Development & CultureHeritage Site Preservation in Asia and the Pacific Through Local Effort (LEAP). ThePlane of LEAP is instituted by the Office of the Regional Advisor for Culture in Asiaand the Pacific of UNESCO in Bangkok from 1995. The frame of the Lijiang Modelis expected to be the reference norm and standard model between conservation anddevelopment in Asia and the Pacific.The Lijiang Model IV(Cooperative Mechanism)of The Lijiang Model try to seek for eight heritages taken experiment from the area ofAsia and the Pacific, and trying to actualize harmonious mechanism and conservationstrategy between conservation and development. The thesis explore the conception of the Lijiang Model IV(CooperativeMechanism), and trying to discuss the Lijiang old town in Chinese mainland and theAnping settlement, the His-Men Ting, the Danshuei old town in Taiwan. Themechanism and relation of the Lijiang Model IV(Cooperative Mechanism) will beexplored from those heritage's strategies. Such as the Eco-museum, the Foundationand the Community Renaissance, etc. Therefore, the essential features can be summarized as follows:First at all, author explore the background of the establish of the Lijiang Model inAsia and the Pacific and understand the execute procedures and result of the LijiangModel in the Lijiang old town.
