At the present time, ash pumping is used as the principle way of ash removal in the coal fired power plant, that it have the advantage of decreasing ash casting in the course of transportation and low cost, but then it crease water consumption and management, bring about environmental pollution and scale deposition on the ash-water tubes. In order to save the carrier water and decrease environmental pollution, many coal-fired power plants have installed the ash-water recycling system, which means the ash removal system adopted the condense slurry transportation and the recycling usage of the ash water. Whereas this recycling operation system would have the serious depositing in ash-water recycling system caused by the recycling use of the high PH carrier water contained more Ca2+, which will influence the normal operation of the power plant. So, whether the recycling system can be used in the ash-water transportation system depends on whether the tube scale deposition can be prevented in the ash- removal system and the backwater recycling system. In accordance with the ash pumping system of Shuicheng Power Plant, Its operation state is analyzed, and the mechanism of scale deposition on the ash-water tubes is discussed, in the meantime the deposit preventing measure is sought out by using the method of chemical deposit preventive. The best complex formula and applying condition of the chemical deposit preventive could be concluded, by selection and matching of monomer preventive, plus the tests of static and dynamic and the examination of economic efficiency. The research result can conduct effectively the operation of ash pumping system in this power plant.
