Permanent magnet brushless DC motor has gotten extensive applications in industrial environments. This paper proposes a control system on the basis of back-EMF method. In this paper summarize the development of permanent magnet brushless DC motor first.Then expounde various kinds of positions signal detection method and compare their advantage and disadvantage.During the design of hardware of this paper, the processor adopts TMS320F240 and combines DSP's developing platform. DSP's developing platform of controller offers the essential protection circuit which protect the circuit electrical machine. This control system designs electric current, voltage signal gather the circuit. Combining the improved mathematics model, use Matlab to build brushless DC motor model. Back-EMF waveform indicates correct thought of hardware of brushless DC motor.Software design mainly come from back-EMF method. The systems software includes initialized module and running module. Sensorless DC motor running module complete DC motor start and has sensorless DC motor close-loop control. Sensorless DC motor close-loop control module include reversing control, current loop regulating,the positive and negative rotational speed controls with speed ring etc.In sum, brushless DC motor control system that this paper proposes is analyzed and emulated proves that it is feasible. The brushless DC motor control system reaches demand.
