Study And Application On The Eco-Campus Planning And Design

This paper proposes basic methods and index system of evaluation of ecological campus in full research of the layout project of Hunan Agricultural University (HNAU) campus. An ecological campus will be evaluated in structure, function and coordination respectively. Correspondingly, the index systems and their general process are presented and the standards the evaluation should abide by are stated to introduce the calculation method of each item in it while the basic methods and parameters are provided, too.According to the actual practice of the layout of HNAU campus, this paper puts forward principles that campus layouts project should adhere to, including integral optimality, unisonous symbiosis, high efficiency, trend deploitation, balance of environment, protection diversity and region division. It further explains that an ecological layout should at least include the laying-out of division of environmental functions, use of land, system of gardens and greenbelts, comprehensive environment of campus; then a general procedure of the layout of an ecological campus is presented to give an idea of basic method and macroscopical way of thinking.With the practice of the design of the layout of HNAU campus, details and specific methods dealing with designing of scenery, gardens, roads are given concerning the contents of ecological cultural construction so as to provide techniques for ecological campus design.This paper analyzes the real situation of gardens and greenbelts and problems at present time in the real layout of HNAU campus, and further stresses that scientific, ecological ideas should be kept in mind in order to establish an ecological campus with characteristics of times. General principles are presented for the layout of campus greenbelts and a special way of thinking is advocated regarding how to combine the vegetation planting and construction of artificial sceneries. [[Abstract: The concept of city forest, the development trend in domestic and international, and general function were addressed in this article. Actuality of ecological environment and existing environment problem were analyzed concretely about nature and social economy of Changsha. The necessity and urgency was put forward during constructing Changsha city forest.Conceive and programming of Changsha forest ecosystem was put forward creatively as Specific practice project of constructing Changsha city forest, on the basis of "Protect programming of national ecological environment" and the quest of building eco-city, and according to principle and theory of "city ecology", "Forest ecology", "Landscape ecology", and "Study of forest sustainable development strategy"Using Changsha region, nature, humanity, economic advantage, the center of city will constructed integrated ecosystem of virescence and beautifying. According to function of forest virescence, adjusts measures to local conditions, inserts green in every bit of time or space, and layouts reasonably various wood varieties, such as economic fruit tree, forest park, leisure wood-garden, nature conservation area, green passage, landscape along river, protecting biology multiplicity, and so on. Measures, such as applying the advanced forest technique, adopting the artificial forest, closing the land for reforestation, are used to improve inhabitant's environment quality, to increase popularity and competition ability of Changsha, to forge new investing environment.
