The crack problem of hydraulic culvert and sluice engineering concrete is rather thoroughly studied in the present paper. Concluded the shape of crack, analyzed the mechanism of cracking, and researched on the engineering measure for prevent from the cracking in this paper. Mathematical model for kinds of engineering measures is calculated; results from all kinds of measures are obtained. The main contents are as follows:1. A 3-D simulative calculation program concerning temperature field and creep stress field and its pre-processing and post-processing has been developed. By applying this program, temperature field and creep stress field of hydraulic culvert and sluice engineer concrete is simulated.2. The phenomenon of crack that appears in the hydraulic culvert and sluice is explained separately. The rule is concluded. The mechanism that forms the crack is studied.3. The typical mathematical model of hydraulic culvert and sluice is thoroughly studied. By using the FEM program, the model is analyzed. The different conclude can be drawn from using the engineering measures or not using them. This can help determine what the best engineering measures can be used.4. Systemic analyses of the practical engineering have been done. The engineering measures including post-pouring belt, part pier pouring with lock floor at one time and pipe cooling is been thoroughly studied. By applying these measures, the stresses in the concrete change. This can offer temperature control and crack prevention in reason to the project.
