The test system, which simulates power plant and electric substation fielding work condition, is designed. Based on short circuit test, the time difference cooperation problem of direct current breaker and fuse cutout are studied and analyzed. Test result shows that time difference cooperation is relation to the trip type of direct current breaker. If suitable trip is selected and cooperated, the configuration of direct current system's protection can be flexible realized, and every stage breaker may be selective operated. The configuration of direct current breaker in power plant and electric substation can be given out based on test and analysis.
