Laser terminal guided projectile, a kind of artillery precisely guided shell, which combines laser technology with electronics and flying control technologies, can guide the shell by laser signal in the terminal stage of the trajectory to track and attack the point target accurately. The present equipped laser terminal guidance system is introduced in 1994, and the corresponding study is not sufficient especially on the firing theory for the purpose of enhancing the performance of and innovating the weaponry system. According to the tenth-five-year plan, the homemade system will be equipped gradually in our artillery troops. Thereupon, the study of its firing effectiveness and combat application becomes an urgent task in order to make full use of the combat effectiveness of the system.The paper has been focused on the feature of the new precisely guided system on the basis of the firing theory. As a result the relatively reasonable basic data is designed and mathematics model on the firing effectiveness is established. Then the C language program is used to solve the model and reasonable data index and relative theory on the basis of the large number of the simulation computation of the set target are obtained. The paper creatively puts forward the theory of the ship-borne artillery terminal guided projectile system and establishes the mathematics model to evaluate its firing efficiency, and creatively discusses the use of the terminal guidance system in the sea-crossing and island-landing battle, providing a theory basis for the future military struggle against Taiwan.
