The emergence of Self-Anchored Suspension Bridges is the embodiment of people's pursuit of bridge's beauty and practicality. The Self-Anchored Suspension Bridges have a lot of advantages. For example, it isn't need to build big anchor and also it hold the traditional suspension bridge's shape. Therefore in the last few years it's domestic and international development is very quickly.Base on the domestic project the major works of this thesis are summarized as follow:1. Collects some data of the Self-Anchored Suspension Bridges. Sum up the domestic and international fulfillment experience. At the same time introduce the domestic practice and research of the Self-Anchor Suspension Bridge, specially the recent practice and research by The Bridge Science Research Institute, Dalian University of Technology. With the prove of the practice in land The Self-Anchored Suspension Bridges made of reinforced concrete is a kind of economical and beautiful bridge style in medium and little span. The structure's rigidity is bigger ,so it is suitable for the public highway bridge and foot bridge.2.At the same time of participating in the design of Wan-Xin bridge, the Wan-Xin bridge's cable force adjusting and the whole bridge's calculate is carried out by the plane linear finite element program FRAME. The result is Wan-Xin bridge is safety under every kinds of working ways. Wan-Xin bridge 's plane model is calculated and compared through linear elasticity and nonlinear theory by general program ANSYS. As for medium and little span, the main beam's moments of The Self-Anchored Suspension Bridge calculated by linear elasticity and nonlinear theory has a little difference.The linear elasticity theory's results is conservative.As for the medium and little span, the linear elasticity theory's results can be the foundation of primary design.3. The bridge beam's optimize primarily carry out by space frames. By the optimize the beam's mechanical requests are satisfied , and the beam's prestressed cable's cost is saving.As the same time,the difference of force transferation between stiff beam under elasticity brace and stiff brace is compared.
