Vibration measurement and analysis technology is the important branch of Mechanical dynamics, and it is the universal aspect of the application of the mechanical dynamic engineering. With the development of the science technology, the requirements for the rotating speed, bearing ability, working life-span and so on become higher and higher, and people have more and more thorough understanding on vibration. Therefore, the requirement for the study of vibration measurement and analysis technology become higher and higher.This paper is to analyze and study on the vibration measurement and analysis technology, especially on the testing modal analysis method. The advantages and disadvantages of the limited-time Fourier Transform and Laplace Transform modal analysis are analyzed. By the theoretical analysis and demonstration with real examples, the modal analysis based on the Laplace Transform is a high precision modal identification method. In addition, the initial conditions of the Laplace Transform are farther studied.For the application, the software system of vibration measurement and analysis is developed based on this theory. Finally, the functions of the system are tested in this paper.
