With the development of modern railways, more and more new lines have been powered by electricity, and lots of electrified modification projects of old lines have been carrying on. Now about 50% railways in our country are electric. However, the population in our country is large and the railways are distributed widely and many railways go through places where lots of people reside, thus the electromagnetic field emitted by the electrified railway will inevitably affect their life. Besides, the construction of city subway and light railway brings new problems to the research of electromagnetic environment. To calculate the 50Hz electromagnetic field of railway, subway and light railway exactly will do much help to evaluating polluted degree of the electromagnetic environment along railways and to evaluating the living situation of residents along railways.In the past, the research toward low frequency electromagnetic field around electrified railways was made by simplifying all kinds of complicated conditions, thecalculatingmodel isnot incombinationwithreal situation. Thus theutilization of calculating result had some limitation and could not satisfy the requests.In this dissertation, I have calculated every kind of electromagnetic fields emitted by electrified railways with method of mirror image. In every calculation of different power supply modes, affection from every metal wire has been considered, so the result is closer to the real situation.At the same time, in the dissertation I have also introduced some innovative research and analyses to the 50Hz electric field in the tunnel of electrified railway with FEM. In the end of the dissertation, I have done some comparison between theory results and real tested data, and give conclusions of theory research and its usage in real life.
