An open and real time dynamic simulation system based on theEthemet is developed in this paPer and it will be used in the intelligentprotection and control laboratory of our school. Some hardwaretechnology such as GPS, Ethernet and embedded computer and somesoftware technology such as Object Oriented Programming are used in thesystem. The functions of sequence contfol, breaker's trip and close at theprocess of protection simulating, evellt recorder and wave recorder withhigh resolation and algorithm validation are realized.
