Underwater explosion related issues have been the focus of research for each powerful country since World War â…¡, research on this aspect of the problem in our country started late, study of the structure of the impact resistance initially based on underwater explosion shock laboratory mostly, because of the expensive cost for experiment, research has been greatly hampered, with the rapid development of computer technology, the use of computer technology become mainstream for research on underwater explosion related issues. Because of the underwater explosion software key disable by Western countries, we still need using experimental methods. At present, domestic and foreign scholars have proposed an experimental method for simulated underwater explosion shock loads in laboratory conditions, this method was simple, low cost, repeatable and short time consuming relatively to traditional experimental methods.In order to study underwater explosion depth, first, the theory of underwater explosion shock wave had been done, used the numerical simulation method to simulate the process of underwater explosion, then, compared with the experimental and theoretical results, to verify the correctness of the numerical simulation method.Based on the stress wave theory, acoustics and law of conservation momentum, the principle of underwater explosion equivalent load method had been analysis, depending on the theoretical models pushed out by different theoretical, whole works of equivalent load method works had been described. Using ANSYS/LS-DYNA software to simulate equivalent of the entire loading process, compared the numerical simulation results and theoretical models analysis results to verify the correctness of the theoretical model. The results show that, theoretical models derived by stress wave propagation theory was still need to improve, conclusions derived from the law of conservation momentum can describe the equivalent load method well.Based on the underwater explosion shock loads equivalent load method proposed by this paper, considering the existing experimental conditions, designed a simple equivalent impact load test device on gun ballistic platform, and the equivalent load test had been done, Based on ANSYS/LS-DYNA software, the equivalent load impact test was simulated, and the simulation results and experimental results were compared. The results show that two results were coincide, confirmed the feasibility of this equivalent experimental method.This paper provide theoretical and practical data for research on underwater explosion shock loads equivalent loading, and provide reference for research on this work.
