With the development of technology and industry, heat exchangers are required of compactness, portability, high efficiency and miniaturization. As an efficient heat exchanger, The fin tube heat exchanger is paid more concentration by people. Heat exchanger is the essential equipment for industrial heat transfer process, and widely used in various industrial sectors. Fin tubes are the key part of fin tube heat exchangers, which quality is directly related to working characteristic of heat exchanger. As a key equipment in Nuclear power plant, MSR plays an important role on Unit efficiency and safty operation. In order to analysis the flow of heat transfer outside tube, the simplified 3-D solid model is built with an 3-D solid modeling software(UG) at first. The element mesh is generated with GAMBIT. Using ANSYS FLUENT as simulation tool, model establishment and simulation computation of fin tube heat exchanger are completed. As heated stream, the process of flow in the fin tubes is the condensation process. The paper do research from the equation of the two-phase flow, pressure, temperature and condensation heat transfer coefficience are studied. Programming the condensation process in the tubes with FORTRAN language, and coupled-calculate the inner and outer heat transfer. The distribution of heated stream are finally obtained. As the device of preventing over-pressure, Safety valve is usually used in the pressure-related container, device and pipe. Because of the complicate character, the paper use commercial software CFX to simulate the flow field and temperature field, and the flux, valve clack stress characteristics are obtained.
