Based on the principle and methods of the selection of evaluation indexes, evaluation index system for highway landscape is bulit from aspects of esthetics,environment and function of highway by using the theory of three elements of landscaping, Then, by analyzing and comparing the current more commonly used evaluation methods of landscape. Finally, Selected the method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) is adopted to evaluate the Kun-Chu highway landscape. Evaluation results consistent with the road situation in the actual landscape.The study on the methods and evaluation of the highway landscape is important to which protect the regional ecological environment and enhance our regional highway construction and management.
