Motor is the core part of the Electric propulsion. With the motor more and more wildly used in automobile, shipbuilding, aviation, etc, the requirements of reliability motor is also becoming more and more high, because in the fields of electrical fault may lead to losses in property and people's death. Therefore, the position of fault-tolerant permanent magnet motor is gradually improve.Through introducing the concept of the six permanent magnet motor and the equivalent circuit of the motor in this paper. Then drew out the concept of six phase fault-tolerant permanent magnet motor. Baseing on the analysis of six phase fault tolerant permanent magnet motor's characteristics, established the mathematical model. Because through the control motor stator current size, it can achieve the desired output torque, this paper adopted current hysteresis tracking the PWM control motor stator windings of electric current. According to the permanent magnet motor of the fault tolerance in six potential failure analysis, the motor possible electrical fault are classified in this paper. Because the electrical machinery open-circuit fault can lead to motor's output electromagnetic torque get lower. This paper puts forward two six phase permanent magnet motor open-circuit fault tolerance of remedial strategies. Fault recovery strategy is an average of every phase of electric current to compensate for open-circuit fault brings the torque loss, and remedial strategies is in the fault on the stator winding non-sinusoidal current, make motor output zero torque output torque motor at the same time, ensure the minimum consumption of copper.According to the mathematical model and the fault-tolerant proposed remedial strategies,I Set up the model of six phase fault-tolerance permanent magnet motor in the simulation of MATLAB. The simulation results indicate that the model of MATLAB simulation model can correct analysis of six phase fault tolerant permanent magnet motor running condition, puts forward the fault recovery strategy can make motor in a phase open-circuit fault, two phase open-circuit fault, still can output trouble-free conditions of the electromagnetic torque, thus to verify the correctness of the theory.six phase fault tolerant permanent magnet motor control system hardware are also discussed in this paper. The control system to TMS320F2812 digital signal processor (DSP) as control core, including H bridge inverter circuits, rotor position detection circuit, the electric current detection circuit, etc.
