The integrated design of plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) and the control strategy are the key research for hybrid electric vehicle (HEV). Modern hybrid drive system has been developed from traditional discrete structure to the integrated structure, in which the motor-gearbox integrated design as a typical structure.Driving system is the core of HEV, which related to the vehicle's dynamic performance, emissions and economic indicators. The way of adhering to the design optimization of hybrid ideas, a high concentration of components, vehicle configuration is relatively simple. The single-axis parallel hybrid drive system described in this article for PHEV is based on the motor-gearbox integrated design. The three-phase AC induction motor and EMT are coaxial coupled to achieve shift, transmission, drive and braking energy recovery and other functions. This article focuses on how the drive automatically transmission, automatically clutch, and how to start and stop the engine. At the same time optimize the vehicle control strategies about how to improve the quality of shift and ride comfort and how to reduce fuel consumption.EMT drive control strategy combined with its unique structure, as required to ensure that the process of gear shift in phase with the speed of process to ensure smooth shifting. The drive system coupling the engine with automatic clutch and motor, to achieve the same speed control, to optimize the control strategy to ensure that the engine can operate in start and stop mode. City bus assembly EMT carry on road test in accordance with national standards, including 0-50 km/h speed, maximum speed, reliability and speed climbing gear, but also of fuel consumption and total energy expenditure were measured. Hybrid drive vehicle control system is the core of the strategy, the study for the control strategy will help promote the hybrid vehicle further development of key technologies.
