The Preliminary Study On The Design Of Urban Wetland Park

Wetlands are the most important ecosystems on the planet which has the ecological, hydrological, social, economic and landscape values are critical to the model of sustainable development to the society. Urban wetland which is the most closely related to human beings is rapidly dissipated due to human disturbances. Meanwhile, as a rapid rise of urban wetland protection, urban wetland park model achieved good environmental and social benefits. Urban Wetland Park developed rapidly in recent years in China, but also exposed many problems and related research was lagged behind.Urban Wetland Park is mainly used in cities with urban Wetland Park function and completed the coordination between wetlands and city parks. Reflected in its various value is based on a healthy wetland ecosystem. Therefore, the core of the city Wetland Park is the restoration and corresponding to natural landscapes and cultural landscapes.The structure of this paper is a process of progressive layers. Expounded wetlands, urban wetland park concepts and analysis of urban wetlands and urbanization, urban wetland resources and the relationship between urban development needs firstly. Then according to the design principles, discussed the design elements of water, waterfront, island, terrain, planting, cultural and so on. That combines cases and practical problems to summed up the design concepts and methods for domestic study of urban wetland park and do some useful supplement to the research.
