Phosphatidylcholine (PC) is composed of glyceryl, fatty acid, phosphoryl group and choline. It has good tensiometric property and emulsification as a typical compound because of hydrophoile groups and oleophile groups. PC has many functions in medical use, such as improving the activity of cells in man's cerebra, keeping young, defending aged dementia and cardiovascular. PC is also used in food, cosmetic industry and so on. At present, almostly all of the high-pure Phosphatidylcholine used in our country are imported, the annual demand is upward to several tons. Our purpose is to prepare high-pure PC.With soybean power phosphatide as raw material, extracted by ethanol, we gained crude lecithin. The optimum extraction conditions was determined: extraction temperature 30℃, time 25min, ethanol concentration 95%,the ratio of soybean powder phosphatide to ethanol was 1:7(g:ml), extracted twice. The PC content has been improved from 15% to more than 50%.Then using chromatography column on silicic acid, the abtainned crude lecithin was further fractionated with ethanol. We separated the phospholipids by our method, after exaporated by freeze-dry machine, ultimately gained high-pure light yellow lecithin. Analysised by thin layer chromatography, there was only one spot, the PCcontent was higher than 95%, and final PC yield was more than 60%. The mobile phase of silica column chromatography is 95% ehanol. The silia can be reused.
