Preparation And Application Of Naphthenic Sulfonates From Naphthenic Lubricating Oil

With the reduction of crude oil in china, enhance oil recovery technology has become a major oil research topics which can greatly increase the recovery ratio of the crude oil. As a very important way in EOR, research on surfactant in EOR has become very urgent.Presently,the main surfactants used in enhanced oil recovery usually possess aromatic rings which can pollute the environment and can not be bi-degraded.Now, one surfactant is effective only in one or several oil blocks.One surfactant can not be widely used.In addition to, the surfactant must be used with other surfactants and alkali.The thesis focuses on preparation an a new surfactant which is environmentally friendly,efficient and economic. We make Nphthenic lubricating oil as raw material,Oleum as sulfonating agent to prepared Naphthenic sulfonates. The structural characteristics of the naphthenic petroleum sulfonants were studied by FT-IR. The results showed that the sulfonates were mainly saturated carbon chain and circle structure.The interfacial properties of these products when be used in the oil-water system of shangli Nol,No2 and other oil recovery blocks of oilfield were investigated by measuring the interfacial tension. The interfacial tension was measured by TX500C rotary drop interfacial tension apparatus. It is shown that the products have excellent capacities and efficiencies of lower the interfacial tension of oil-water of block 1.,block 2. in Shengli oilfield, Gudong oilfield and Gudao oil field to ultralow without alkaline or any other additives. The interface tension between crude oil and water could be cut down to below 10-3mN/m.The Naphthenic sulfonates also has strong stability, stable performance at different temperatures,good preservation,strong salt resistabce. The Naphthenic sulfonates are a new surfactant in EOR.
