Water is the basis of human survive and society development, and base of development and cultivation of human cultures. Wetlands, integrate ecological system in water environment, has abundant resource compositions, which provides diverse ecological services for urbanization and natural environment. However, urbanization activities had harmful to lakefront ecological system. Activities of developing and constructing just aims to industrial cultivation and maximum economic effect that is so called, else ecological value of urban lakefront wetlands ecological system is looked down. With the development of ecology profession, relation of human to nature brings to be focus. People realizes that it is essential to respect natural discipline and be hamony to nature. In present, some developed countries abroad had researched lakefront wetlands and implemented practice process from demished development to rehabiliation and reconstruction. But in the progression of landscape architecture, wetlands effect is limited by single construction measures with higher stewarding expenditure. As a result, urban lakefront space with co-exist of city properties and natural feature will be formed by method of eclogical rehabiliation integrated with landscape design, aimed to re-construct original natural environment in city, which is a important aspect of landscape architecture study.The paper analyzed properties, functions and characteristics of lakefront wetlands and factors impacted on ecological revitalization design, based on references of urban constructed wetlands in and abroad. ecological revitalization conception, engineering resolution and design program of urban lakefront wetlands were researched in further. Relative theories and practices system were studied by case study of constructed wetlands ecological revitalization design of HuangGang Yiai lake. Techniques and methods of environmental science and forestry science were utilized in the study of site review and analysis, which provides guidance for ecological revitalization design. Heavy metal in soil was tested and analyzed in this study, which in some degree reflects soil healthy condition and provides guidance for soil renew. In addition, the paper adopted classification methods to research wetlands. As to wetlands is multi-factors compositions, major factor was studied in details. Relation of urban constructed wetlands system to urbanization activities was further studied by methods of landscape planning and design and scientific engineering measures. In order to cater for ecology, humanity, society and landscape, theories and engineering resolutions of urban constructed lakefront wetlands were promoted.
