Heterogeneity and unfavorable mobility are two key factors to the influence of sweep efficiency, which results in early breakthrough from channel with high permeability and water-cut rapidly increases in producers.Profile modification plays an important role in improving sweep efficiency in water-flooding reservoir.Colloidal Dispersion Gels using polyacrylamide with high molecular weight and aluminium citrate is short for CDG.CDG is a developed in-depth profile modification and flooding agent, which can be used in deep profile modification as well as polymer flooding.Focusing on Hai waihe oilfield,we have developed a series of CDG by changing polymer, crosslinker, stabilizer concentration and temperature. The mechanism of CDG technology for enhanced oil recovery has been studied by the use of linermodel, layermodel, and aeolotropic in the experimentation to explore the rule of the flow of CDG in pores. The result of the experiment demonstrates: when stabilizer and crosslinker concentration are bound, the gel rate is quickened and strengthened.when stabilizer and polymer concentration are bound, crosslinker concentration must be appropriate,if it is too low, valid crosslink can't form,if it is too high, undueover crosslink is coming. When polymer and crosslinker concentration are bound,if stabilizer concentration is too low,the gel rate will be slack off,on the contrary, the gel intensity is variation. With the temperature ascend, gel rate is quickened and viscosity is elevate. The flow resistance of CDG is very big in the porous medium by core evaluaterating. when polymer concentration is bound,CDG is superior to polymer flooding,CDG and A/S flooding is exceed CDG and A/S/P flooding.
