Given the flow characteristics of low-permeability oil reservoirs, in order to understand low-permeability reservoir deeply, improve oilfield development, reduce production costs and improve economic efficiency, this paper studied the well testing technology of low- permeability oil fields for early development. At last, the following achievements are obtained through this paper:1. In order to study well testing technology better, more complete and comprehensive well testing and production test dynamic evaluation process has been established;2. These mathematical models have been established during the steady and pseudsteady state flow respectively before well off.3. Analyzed the application of performance evaluation technology by examples on the interpretation of reservoir properties, determination of reservoir material types, identification for the size of sand body and boundary, and productivity prediction. Moreover, through association with geological, seismic, well logging technologies, performance evaluation technology can improve the level of reservoir evaluation, and thus change the situation that preliminary evaluation relying only on static information as before, all of which Ultimately can help to provide reliable references for the submission of explored reserves and design of development programs.
