Since the 1960s, fluorescent polymer gradually became a research topic because of its good mechanical properties, ease of film forming and processing. Pyrazoline chromophore is a high-quality light-emitting material whose emission wavelength is at around 450nm. It has high fluorescent quantum efficiency and narrow emission bands. Therefore, we introduce the pyrazoline chromophore onto the polymer's side-chain to provide access to good fluorescence properties and the advantages of polymers, this kind of fluorescent polymers material has a wide application prospect.In this thesis, we focused on the design and syntheses of novel polymers containing pyrazoline chromophore as side chain for fluorescent materials. Through the ordinary free radical polymerization method, we had synthesized the styrenic-maleimide alternating copolymer containing pyrazoline chromophore to reduce the polymer's degree of fluorescence quenching. We also prepared the copolymers containing pyrazoline and other fluorescent chromophore. Systematic studies of the relationship between structure and properties of the chromophore have been done. In this paper, mainly the following aspects of work:(1)Two fluorescent monomers containing pyrazoline moieties: 5-(4-(4-benzyloxy-vinyl)phenyl)-1,3-diphenyl--4,5-2H-1H-pyrazoline(StODO),5-(4-(4-benzyloxy-vinyl)phenyl)-3-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1-phenyl-4,5-2H-1H-pyrazoline(MeOStODO) and four maleimide monomers were designed and synthesized. Through free radical copolymerization, we synthesized systematic of alternating copolymers with pyrazoline monomers and maleimide, and inspected the fluorescence difference during alternating copolymer, homopolymer and random copolymer.(2) We designed and synthesized a new kind of red fluorescent monomer 2-(2-(4-(4-vinylbenzyloxy)styryl)-6-(4-(dimethylamino)-styryl)-4H-pyran-4-ylidene)ma -lononitrile(PyNT). Through free radical polymerization method, we copolymerized StODO and PyNT,and investigated the differences in fluorescence properties of polymers when they have different chromophore content.
