Study On Causative Mechanisms And Prevention Countmeasures Of Karst Rocky Desertification In Yulong, Yunan

With the development of the society,the problem how human beings live with earth has arisen.Human beings are deeply bothered by environmental crisis growing in intensity while they are proud of their outstanding achievements . Rocky desertification of land is especially prominent out of all the problem of environmental degradation,so it has become great environmental topics which is globally interested.Karst Rocky Desertification is defined as a process of land degradation involving serious soil erosion,extensive exposure of basement rocks,drastic decrease of land productivity and the appearance of a desert-like landscape.This paper studies on Karst rocky desertification (KRD) in Yulong Naxi autonomous county,Yunnan.This region is famous for beautiful scenery,but compared to less attention to KRD about red clay coverage area..With population increase and the increasingly rapid economic growth,the problem of KRD was immediately identified.Based on study on characteristic and current situation of KRD,this paper studies on causative mechanisms of KRD in red clay coverage area (including Macro dynamic mechanism of forming about KRD,microcosmic mechanism of forming about KRD and environmental geological processes accelerating the process of KRD).This paper also predicts the development trend of KRD on this basis,therefore,the paper puts forward suggestions about preventing and curing KRD.This paper encompasses several major topics:(1) background characteristics of forming of KRD in research region;(2) characteristic and current situation of KRD in research region;(3) causative mechanisms of KRD in research region;(4)the tendency predicted of KRD and suggestions about protecting and curing KRD.The causative mechanisms of KRD in research region is the focal point and difficult point among them in the paper.To reveal that red clay has the qualities of obvious contractibility and low swelling property,this paper start with material constitution,physicochemical characteristics and engineering characteristic of red clay.Through disintegration test under water combining with characteristics of red clay,the paper draws the conclusion that KRD is in essence a process of water loss and soil erosion which is under the control of degree of drying and water absorption character of surface of red clay.Then,this paper illustrates mechanisms of KRD from aspect of red clay's micromechanism.In addition,KRD forms under the influence of a good many natural factors such as physiognomy,climate,hydrology,and so on,which is accelerated by human factor.To sum up,this paper makes further study on distribution rule,characteristic,current situation and causative mechanisms of KRD in Yulong on the basis of the study by the predecessors.There are some directed active effects on protecting and curing KRD and further study on the phenomenon of KRD.
