Spunlace is a promising and high-end technology in the field of non-woven fabric. Spunlaced Non-wovens are widely used in medical and health fields all over the world, which will have a good market in China. However, the low value-added, innovation-poor and species-single are hampering the development of the product. Spunlaced Non-woven Fabric being made from regenerated protein fiber is the enhancement and expansion for Spunlaced technology.The regenerated protein fiber is made from abandoned animal protein, the material is quite widely and innoxiously, as well as sustainable for development. The physical properties of the fiber were tested, such as hygroscopicity, electrical conductivity and mechanical performance, by contrast with protein fibers which include soybean fibers, silk and wool fibers, the results show that the strength of regenerated protein fiber is 30-45cN/dtex, elongation is 16.3~18%, moisture regain rate is 13.5%.This paper discussed spunlaced Non-woven technology on materials to regenerated protein fiber, especially to relations of Spunlaced pressure, speed rate and product quality. The product strength will increase with Spunlaced pressure increased accordingly, but when over pressure increase its strength less obvious. To make product smooth, which need not the greater pressure but the reasonable Spunlaced pressure. This paper also summarized reference values of pressure under test combined with actual production.Through testing on the performances of regenerated protein Spunlaced Non-woven, the results show that it has the good performance on bacteriostasis, diathermanous, moisture absorption, PH value of little acid, the relative to skin and the characteristic which dissolves with the human body. That is to say the product is ideal material for beauty, health-care and sanitation supplies. The test′s result indicated that:according to " the sanitation Standard of one-off use sanitation things "GB15979-2002, and the test condition of the animal regenerated protein fiber ,which added antibacterial factor and the spunlaced nonwovens,processing on 2 minutes, and the rate to the golden yellow staphylococcus average bacteriostasis is 83.6%; while processing on 5 minutes, and the rate to the golden yellow staphylococcus average bacteriostasis is 92.8%; processing on 10 minutes and the rate to the golden yellow staphylococcus average bacteriostasis is 96.1%; processing on 20minutes, and the rate to the golden yellow staphylococcus average bacteriostasis is 100%.The product has the antibacterialand bacteriostasis function, conforms to its stipulation of enterprise standard Q/320682GEY04-2006.5.7 ,conforms to the request that bacteriostasis rate of the nonwoven fabric≥50%.
