Polymer flooding technology enhances oil recovery by increasing the sweep efficiency of water. Polymer flooding has been launched cosmically in the main reservoir of Daqing Oilfield, which plays an important role as the major technology of increasing reserves and production in late high water. Conventional polymer flooding can enhance oil recovery efficiency by 10-15% and the ultimate recovery efficiency can reach about 50%. But as the main reservoir area of polymer injection expanding, a kind of reservoir of surplus reserves for polymer flooding reduces year by year and a large number of industrialized block of polymer flooding is over, How to further enhance polymer recovery to improve polymer development is the important issue of the oilfield development..Laboratory study showed that the high concentration of polymer system had strong anti-shearing and good viscoelasticity, big coefficicent of resistance and residual resistance, which can enhance oil recovery significantly. In order to explore further way to enhance oil recovery, an effective way that high-concentration polymer system replaces ordinary polymer can enhance oil recovery by 10%. According to the coring data and residual oil distribution, the studies showed that the main reservoir still had further tapping potential after the end of polymer flooding. Through the pilot test, high-concentration polymer flooding test made better flooding. In order to sustain the development of oilfield, it is important to further explore the feasibility of the major reservoirs EOR economically and technically, especially the EOR rate after the implementation of polymer flooding by adding high-concentration polymer into the main reservoir. In this paper, the performance and flooding results have been evaluated indoor and dynamics characteristics and effective measures to adjust the rates of high-concentration polymer in the trial process were concluded, which provided technical data and experimental basis for further study of polymer flooding.
