The Study On Status,Management And Control Strategies Of Domestic Sewage In The New Rural Construction Of Shanghai

The construction of new peasant villages is become booming in Shanghai. Many farmers houses was replaced by new peasant villages. There exist some types of the new peasant villages such as the lonely flats of peasant, the center villages and the dispersive old peasant villages. The collection ration of rural sewage is very low due to these peasant villages are far away from the urban drainage pipe network. The rural sewage pollution was not obvious due to the factor of natural eco-balance. The problem of domestic sewage and river pollution in Shanghai countryside have become more and more worse with increasing people and the widely application of urbanization facilities.How about the status of water environment, the collection and treatment of rural sewage and municipal equipment in Shanghai suburb? It is necessary to conduct principal study to answer these questions. This thesis investigated the status of all new peasant villages and especially the classic new peasant villages in Shanghai. The status of several new peasant villages were typed and summarized, and a general plan on Shanghai rural sewage treatment is worked out according to the characteristics of pollution and local facts in Shanghai rural areas based on study on the status of all types of new peasant villages. Systematic study and countermeasures were suggested including the economy system, rural sewage treatment technologies as well as policy and administration management.Based on the systematic analysis, this paper pointed out that the construction of municipal equipment appeared much lager compared with the construction of new countryside. It was often seen that the untreated sewage were discharged into the nearby river directly. The environmental awareness was thin and lacked among peasants. The applications of treatment technologies of rural sewage in Shanghai suburb not only have poor performance for the lack of effective management mechanism. Above these are the main reasons which lead to the river pollution in Shanghai suburb. It is suggested that the protection of water environment should be carefully noticed under the background of new countryside construction at presently. The new countryside construction could be developped in a healthy and sustainable way only by the enhancing environmental planning, establishing environmental manage mechanism as well as the strengthen of education for peasants.
