The Study Of The Project On Renewable Water Use Of Baotou

Baotou is a newly-built industrial city as well as a national garden city in the north of China. But in this resource-based city there exists a serious problem of water shortage. Sewage is not only the cause of city water pollution but also a stable "Second source of water". Water has become an important factor which influences the sustainable development of local economy. Making use of renewable water to replace fine source of water has a positive and practical significance and long-term strategic significance to reducing water pollution, conservation of water resources, easing water shortages and improving the ecological environment.In the 1990s, Baotou began to step up sewage treatment. Since then, three two-level sewage treatment plants have been set up and put into use. The paper is targeted at the study of the project of renewable water use of the city and argues in a selective way the treatment and tubing distribution of renewable water. At last, a project on renewable water treatment and use, a project on pipe system and some practical solutions are offered in the paper.The study ends the history of Baotou's lacking a project of renewable water use for years, and integrates the existing sewage renewable resources. It also expounds the development model of this industry in Baotou in a more comprehensive, systematic and long-term way. In addition, it solves the problem of Baotou's lacking an overall, systematic, and long-term project on the existing renewable water use and it plays an positive guiding role. Under the guidance of the project, it will surely bring about good economic returns, environmental benefits and social benefits to step up sewage treatment.
