Because the oil resources of the whole world are gradually decreasing and international oil price is on the rise, many countries are putting forward the strategy of using the corn"instead of"the oil. It costs less that using the corn"instead of"the oil as material produces polybasic alcohol, and it is produced by using renewable resources,so more and more countries are increasingly paying attention to the strategy. In this thesis, we can get 1,2- Butanediol by azeotropic distillation from the system Glycol-1,2-Propanediol-1,2-Butanediol which is crude production. It has important economic value and actual signification. For the three components are azeotrope, in this thesis, firstly azeotropic distillation was selected to separate them. Secondly homotopy -Newton united method was used to predict azeotropic component and azeotropic temperature.Thirdly, the solvent ethyl benzene was selected from some solvents by the fuzz mathematics. At last, the experiments were done to prove the feasibility. The equations are being transformed to a differential homotopy -continuation function, and being a initial value problem of ordinary differential equation. Prediction-corrector methods are adopted in this thesis to solve ordinary differential equation. At last we adopt Newton methods to get the exact solution.Selecting azeotropic distillation to separate the composition, compared with common distillation, can increase relative volatility of the components, raise yield of production, and improve earnings of all the devices.
