Roller leveling is the leveler which is the most widely used. Its theory is based on the metal material under the larger elastoplastic bending condition, no matter how much difference between the original curvatures, the difference between the residual curvatures will be significantly reduced after spring-back,or even in line. Achieving the objective of straightening.At present the demand of high-strength steel plate withσb=800~1000MPa is sharply increasing in the market. Economic efficiency has great potential. Against the production of the straightening line of a hot-rolled plant has failed to meet specifications thick, high-intensity production requirements. This paper studies the key equipment of the production line - roller leveling. Establishing the FEM Model of the roller leveling. Simulating the leveling process of roller leveling by the Finite Element Method.In this paper, plate with different specifications is modeled and simulation respectively. When the reduction is based on the parameter surveyed in the scene. Look over its results and compare with the actual situation to test the reliability of the model. For the same specification plate, changing its straightening parameters constantly. Analyzing its straightening effectiveness and residual stress distribution. And obtaining the relationship between the reduction and the straightening effectiveness. In accordance with the relationship changing straightening parameters once again, to explore the best straightening parameters which could creat the best straightening effectiveness.In this paper, a model with many parameters of roller leveling is developed, which can adjust the straightening process parameters easily and analyz the leveling effects.This model has meaningful guiding significance to set the straightening process parameters of roller leveling.
