Using the hydrogenation craft on coal tar oil, it can complete the desulphurization, nitrogen removal reaction, saturate the unsaturated hydrocarbon, the aromatic hydrocarbon is saturated, achieved reduce the content of S, N and the unsaturated hydrocarbon, improves its stability and the corrosive, obtains the naphtha and the high quality bunker oil.In this paper, density and viscosity of coal tar oil and hydrogen solubility in coal tar oil is studied fairly systematically, and is carried on the fitting analysis with Excel software. These data make up for the blank of the domestic data base about the field of coal tar oil, and provide the foundation data for the industrialization design of coal-tar oil catalyze hydrogenation in slurry reactor. The conclusions are as follows:i . Densities of three kinds of coal tar oil were measured at normal pressure, different temperature, all density are decreasing with temperature going up in the linear way. Has carried on mathematics regress using Excel software to the density of three kinds of coal-tar oil and the temperature relational curves, obtains three regression equations.ii. Viscosities of three kinds of coal tar oil were measured at normal pressure, different temperature, the relationship between viscosity of three kinds of coal-tar oil and temperature is power function. Has carried on mathematics regress using Excel software to the viscosity of three kinds of coal-tar oil and the temperature relational curves, obtains three regression equations.iii. The hydrogen solubility in three kinds of coal-tar were measured at different pressure, different temperature, has carried on mathematics regress using Excel software to the hydrogen solubility in three kinds of coal-tar oil and the temperature, pressure relational curves, has provided the basis for its hydrogenation condition choose.The main study content of this article is, enhances the hydrogen carbon ratio in coal-tar oil, enable the unsaturated bond to be saturated, reduces the harmful element Sand N content, improves its stability and corrosiveness, achieves the purpose of purifying, simultaneously, through coal-tar oil catalyze hydrogenation in slurry reactor. Studied the hydrogenation effect influence of the reaction temperature, the reaction pressure, the reaction time, the catalyst type and the catalyst recruitment to 1 #and 2 # coal-tar oil, using the orthogonal experimental technique and the gas chromatography analysis method, obtained the most superior hydrogenation condition of 2 # coal-tar oil through the analysis. The 2# coal-tar oil is catalysis hydrogenated in slurry reactor, the product of hydrogenation and reactor are analyzed using gas chromatography and the CHNS/O element analyzer. The conclusions are as follows:i. Under the hypothesis experimental condition, carried on the hydrogenation to 1 # coal-tar oil, the condensation reaction occupies superiorly, the total hydrogenation effect is not ideal. The effect of hydrogenation to 2 # coal-tar oil is very good, the tiptop production rate of the goal product achieves 26.3%.ii. Through the orthogonal analysis, obtains the optimized hydrogenation condition of 2 # coal-tar oil: the reaction temperature is 350℃, the reaction pressure is 9MPa, the reaction time is 120min, the catalyst type is iron catalyst and the catalyst recruitment is 2g/100ml. The factors which affect the production rate of the goal product of 2 # coal-tar oil: the reaction temperature and the reaction pressure are most remarkable, next are the catalyst type and the catalyst recruitment, the last is the reaction time.iii. In the situation of does not supplies the hydrogen solvent, carries on catalyze hydrogenation processing in slurry reactor to 2 # coal-tar oil is feasible. The production rate of the goal product of 2 # coal-tar oil achieves 33.9% at the most superior hydrogenation condition.iv. In 2 # coal-tar oil products, the C and H comparative contents increase 0.41% and 2.62% respectively, H/C increases 0.17%, the N and S comparative contents decrease 9.21% and 34.62% respectively. It shows the hydrogen carbon ratio in coal-tar oil is enhances, the harmful element S and N content is reduces, the S comparative contents decreases 34.62% especially, achieves the distinct effect of purifying, through catalyze hydrogenation reaction.
