The quality standardization is one of the problems we need to solve during the way Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) are being put to the international market, specially in such a period of information and standardization.With the development of TCM and the associated subjects, the research on TCM's quality control also has a deep advancement. Up to now, the technology of fingerprint atlas based on the modern analytical means has been the main direction of the quality control of Chinese crude drugs and Chinese drugs pharmaceutics.The fingerprint atlas of TCM means that a certain (or some origin) Chinese Crude Drug (CCD) or Chinese Traditional Patent Drugs (CTPD) adopt certain analytical means after proper treatment, then the chromatogram or spectrum that can mark the characteristics of this CCD or CTPD is gotten. With the research of the plant chemistry, the pharmacology and drug efficacy for half a century, people realized the curative effects of TCM is not from any single active composition more and more, but from many kinds active composition basically, even cooperative effect or"generates restrictive function"of"non- active composition". TCM fingerprint atlas better settled the problems of accuracy and special attributes using their systematicness, comprehensives of information, and make TCM study according with the unitary conception of medical science in the motherland, so some experts call it:"the milestone of quality control of traditional Chinese medicine".The thesis was devided into four parts:In chapter one, it was summed up for some major theory knowledge, research current situation, different construction methods and study application of TCM fingerprint atlas technology.In chapter two, it was regarded CCD Tibet Rhizoma Picrorhizae as the research object. Experiments and analysis were carried out by powder x-ray diffraction fourier pattern, the standard x-ray diffraction fourier fingerprint atlas and 25 characteristic diffraction marked peaks were obtained. A new method had been set up for the quality control of Tibet Rhizoma Picrorhizae.In chapter three, it was regarded CCD Cortex Phellodendri as the research object. Near-infrared diffuse reflection technology was adopted to distinguish Cortex Phellodendri. Different pretreatment technology, the water content of the sample was investigated. The result manifested this analytical methods can discriminant Chinese medicinal materials in different habits fast; Capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE) was used for analyzing 5 Cortex Phellodendri samples from different origins. Under the optimized condition, capillary electrophoretogram, 14 co- fingerprint peaks and 6 strong peaks of fingerprint atlas were got with the reference Berberine Hydrochloride. It was feasible to control the quality of Cortex Phellodendri extraction; Powder x-ray diffraction fourier pattern was applied to Cortex Phellodendri, the standard x-ray diffraction fourier fingerprint atlas and 48 characteristic diffraction marked peaks were gained.In chapter four, it was regarded CCD Radix Scutellariae as the research object. Near-infrared diffuse reflection was employed for 150 samples from different batches, different producing areas. Triplication cross validation was utended to prove the correct rate of classification of the discrimination model that was set up. The categorised precision was up to 100% for the samples in known training set, up to 95.3% for the ones in unknown prediction set. The experiment showed that this model had satisfactory prediction performance, suitable for the classification of crude drugs quickly; Micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatography (MECC) was introducted for the water extraction of Radix Scutellariae in various metropolis. The corresponding technical parameters of fingerprint atlas was procured with the reference baicalin. The result indicated that capillary electrophoresis (CE) was suitable for the control of whole quality of crude drugs.
