Yong 8 block is the key production region of the Dongxin Oil ProductionFactory. However, due to the serious interlayer heterogeneity waterfloodsusceptibility is not ideal. The formation cementation is loose, oiliness is heavy,matching process is more difficult and so on. All these result in low degree ofreserve recovery. Therefore the research about the EOR technology which suitesto Dongxin reservoir conditions and improves ultimate recovery of reservoirhave great significance. In view of the aforementioned problems, firstly,according to the reservoir conditions of Yong 8 block the physical model isestablished. And then the conducting displacement tests such as polymerflooding, crosslinked polymer flooding, HPE flooding, active water flooding,micro gel flooding, microbial flooding, nitrogen foam flooding rtest were donewhich can be applied to high temperature and high salinity reservoir. And theadaptability of different oil displacement agent was determined. Then thereservoir simulation of polymer flooding of Yong 8X5 block was done based onthe Physical modeling. According to the development situation and thedistribution of remaining oil of Yong 8 block , the effect of exploitation of thedifferent ways of flooding wsa studied,and the techniques to improve the oilrecovery of Yong 8 block was optimized. The method which can improve thedevelopment effect of conventional heavy oil reservoir like the Yong 8 block isfound. The study provided technical support to improve oil recovery of thehigh temperature and high salinity reservoir of Dongxin oilfield.
