Recently, coordination polymers have become one of the most current interests for theirfascinating structural diversity and specific functionality, which have made them highlypromising in various applications, particularly absorption, catalysis, molecularmagnetization. Two 1-D chain coordination polymers, one dinuclear copper supermolecularpolymer and mononuclear nickel complex were synthesized using hydroponic and hydrothermalreaction. The dissertation is divided into five chapters. In the first chapter, one brief introduction about the concept and development ofcoordination polymers and coordination polymers constructed from ligands including carboxylgroup are given, as well as research significance, the general synthesis method, molecularmagnetization and research content of the thesis. In the second chapter, 5-nitro-1,3-benzenedicarboxylate bridged one-dimensionalcoordination polymers were synthesized and characterized:[Mn2(5-nbdc)2(imH)6]n·2H2O(1)和[Co(5-nbdc)2(imH)2]n(2), polymer 1 shows 1-D zigzag chainstructure, two Mn(Ⅱ) ions are in a distorted octahedral geometry, The5-nitro-1,3-benzenedicarbonate ligands act in only one kind of tridentate-O,O'O" bridgingmode, utilizing a oxygen atom of one carboxyl to coordinate with Mn(1) ions, utilizing twooxygen atom of the other carboxyl to chelate Mn(2). in the 2k-300k, magnetic property ofpolymerl have been investigated, magnetic analysis have revealed the existence of weakintrachain antiferromagnetic interaction and weak interchain ferromagnetic interaction, polymer2 showsl-D linear structure, Co(Ⅱ) ions are in a distorted tetrahedral geometry, The5-nitro-1,3-benzenedicarbonate ligands act in only one kind of didentate-O,O' bridgingmode, two carboxyls are both coordinating with Co(Ⅱ) utilizing one oxygen atom. in the2k-300k, magnetic property of polymer 2 have been investigated, magnetic analysis haverevealed the existence of weak interchain and intrachain antiferromagnetic interaction. In the third chapter, one two-dimensional supermolecular coordination polymer withp-aminobenzoic acid and copper nitrate in the presence of an additional ligand1,10-phenanthroline has been synthesized and described. Each copper(Ⅱ) ions isfive-coordinate, carboxyl of the p-aminobenzoic acid coordinate with copper(Ⅱ) ion by adopting syn-syn bridging coordination mode, Two adjacent Cu(Ⅱ) atoms are linked, the 2-D structure isfurther extended through intermolecular and extramolecular hydrogen bonding. In the fourth chapter, mononuclear salicylaldehyde nickel complex [Ni(C7H5O2)2] wassynthesized, the structure was determined by X-ray crystallography with the following data:monoclinic, P2(1)/c space group, nickel(Ⅱ) is in a distorted square-planar geometry.
