Polysiloxane seed emulsion was prepared by anionic emulsion polymerization of D4 and VD4. Silicon-acrylic copolymer was synthesized by seed emulsion polymerization. Silicon-acrylic elastomer which has excellent properties was synthesized by curing.The effects of catalyst, emulsifier and temperature on the dynamics of polymerization was studied. The results showed, when the temperature is 75~85°C, the content of DBSA is 3%, the content of SDBS is 1%, stable polysiloxane seed emulsion can be synthesized.The effects of feeding method, temperature, emulsifier, initiator, the content of seed emulsion and the mole ratio of D4/VD4 on the dynamics and stabilization of polymerization were studied. Silicon-acrylic copolymer was characterized by IR, DSC and TGA. The study showed, silicon-acrylic copolymer which has excellent properties can be synthesized at the situation that the temperature is 70~85°C, the content of emulsifier is 1.5~2%, the content of initiator is 0.2~0.3%, the content of polysiloxane is 10% and the mole ratio of D4/VD4 is 20/1. The results showed that polysiloxane had been copolymerized with acrylate monomers by IR and DSC. TGA indicates, the heat resistance is improved by the introduction of silaxone.Silicon-acrylic copolymer can be cured by fatty amine or epoxy resin. The properties of silicon-acrylic elastomer cured by composite curing agent E6101/HA(1/1) was excellent. The results showed, silicon-acrylic elastomer with excellent properties can be synthesized at the situation that the curing agent is composite curing agent E6101/HA(1/1) and its content is 3 (mass ratio), the filling agent is N330/N55(2/1) and its content is 50 (mass ratio), the content of polysiloxane is 10%.
