Dyeing wastewater has played a major role in industry wastewater outlet with the rapid development of chemical fiber and textile industry in our nation. Though secondary effluent can often fulfil the pollution control requirements, mainly COD norm, but the color is still high and cannot be reused as industrial water. So it's be of very practical value to develop low-cost and high efficient methods to remove color from dyeing wastewater.Membrane technology is a new type of solid-liquid separation methods with high efficiency, deep level and environmental friendship. But it was encountering such difficulties as high fabrication price and maintenance cost, flux declining caused by membrane contamination, hard to cleaning and microfiltration membrane cannot remove color from dyeing wastewater. Dynamic membrane is a gel layer or cake layer deposited on the top of support in the course of filtration. It is inevitable in membrane filtration, but we can take advantage of it to improve membrane separation performance. In simple, dynamic membrane has smaller holes than primary membrane so it can trap smaller solid particles and is easy to clean and regenerate.In this paper a method is designed to dispose dyeing wastewater. Biological degradating firstly to lower COD of the wastewater, then separating dyes from the secondary effluent with dynamic membrane, so outlet can fulfill requirements for controlling pollutions and dyes in wastewater can be concentrated for recovery or burning and so on.This research focused on preparation and modification of membrane materials,dynamic membrane formation and its performance in dyeing wastewater treatment. Some conclusions are as follows.(1) Hydrous metal oxides are suitable for dynamic membrane formation, dynamic membrane will be formed quickly when certain conditions such as concentration, cross-flow velocity(CFV) and trans-membrane pressure(TMP) are fulfilled.
